He has acted for clients across a range of contentious matters from shareholder and director disputes, fraud and asset recovery, regulatory breaches and internal investigations.

 

Ammar has also been instructed in some of the most complex and high-profile cases in recent years, including cross-border probes involving the US Department of Justice, the 1MDB investigations, the Wirecard scandal, and more recently the investigations into a former political officeholder and prominent businessman.

In parallel, Ammar brings a strong track record in healthcare-related disputes and advisory. He has advised doctors and medical institutions on SMC proceedings, medical negligence claims, patient confidentiality breaches, internal investigations, and reputational risk.
