Alex is currently an Associate with the Firm, and his areas of practice covers dispute resolution, corporate advisory and regulatory compliance work.

Prior to being called to the Singapore Bar in 2023, he trained at one of the biggest law firms in Singapore. Alex’s legal foundation is reinforced by his tenure in the public service, including a stint at the Attorney-General’s Chambers, where he worked on mutual legal assistance and extradition matters. His investigative acumen also stems from his time as a Senior Police Office in the Singapore Police Force, where he led investigations into a range of criminal cases, including white-collar financial crimes, property offenses, and violent crimes.

Alex read law at the Singapore Management University, graduating with a Summa Cum Laude (with Highest Distinction). He was on the Dean’s List for multiple academic years and was awarded the Juris Doctor Term Award for his academic performance.

 

Alex also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History and Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
